Dear Graduands

It is our pleasure to invite all the candidates, passed out during April 2019 to participate in the 13th Graduation Ceremony of our College to be held on 15th February 2020. The candidates are also requested to adhere strictly the following instructions.

 

Registration

  • » Only Online registration is permitted and there will be NO SPOT REGISTRATION.
  • » 2019 passed out Graduands only are allowed to register for the Graduation Day.
  • » Registration closes on 09th February 2020 by 11.59 P.M.
  • » Only those candidates who have registered before the deadline will be permitted to receive the degree.
  • » Confirmation of registrations, in person, for the candidates who have already registered, opens on 15/02/2020 between 7.30 A.M. to 09.30 A.M.
  • » Late arrival for registration confirmation will not be entertained after 09.30 A.M.
  • » Please furnish accurate details since this will be used for further communication.

Venue of Graduation Ceremony

Confirmation of registration will take place as per the following schedule:

  • » All graduands should report (the faculty In-charge of their respective departments) at the F-Block (Near Canteen) by 7.30 A.M.
  • » All graduands are to be seated in the main venue-Dr.Marappa G Aruchami Auditorium before 10.00 A.M. after the registration

 

DRESS CODE

Following are the instructions to be followed strictly:

Gents :

Full sleeve, light coloured (white, light blue, light green, light yellow, cream) plain shirt, dark coloured full pant and formal shoes.

Black Shirt and Jeans should be avoided.

Ladies :

Formal Sarees with decent design or Chudidhar.

 

Graduation Gown

  • » All graduands will be issued robes at the campus and they are required to wear it throughout the function.
  • » The Graduation robes will be available on rent. Refundable deposit for the robe is Rs.200/- and the Hire is Rs.40/-
  • » Robes must be returned immediately after the Graduation is over.

 

Photography

  • » Photographs will be taken only by the designated event photographers.
  • » Personal photograph and videos are strictly prohibited in the Auditorium.
  • » For Photograph Rs.120 will be collected from each Graduand in advance by the photographer in the campus and Graduands can collect the copy of the Photograph from the Examination Cell after 2 days of the Ceremony.

 

Instruction for the Graduands

  • » After getting the Graduation robes, graduands are to be seated by 10.00 A.M. in the Auditorium as per the seating arrangements.
  • » Rank holders(both UG and PG) are to be seated in the front rows allotted for them and the remaining graduands must be seated only in their allotted seats.
  • » Please switch off the mobile phones before entering the Graduation Venue.
  • » Please stand when the academic procession enters the venue and remain standing until the members of the procession have taken their seats.
  • » All graduands are to remain in the hall during the entire proceedings. No one is allowed to leave the hall before the end of the proceedings.
  • » Pledge for the graduands is a very significant part of the graduation event and hence all have to take the pledge as read out by the Principal.
  • » Please stand up to take pledge.
  • » Please remain standing while the National Anthem is played and when the academic procession leaves the auditorium.

 

Instruction for the Parents/Guests

  • » Parents/Guests will be accommodated in the Conference hall and they are not allowed inside the Graduation hall.
  • » The Recipient of the degree is allowed to bring maximum of two guests.
  • » Only parents, blood relations (brother/sister) or spouse of recipients are allowed.
  • » Children below 15 years of age are not allowed.
